Dr. Christopher Atkinson obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree at Duke University prior to completing medical school at Albany Medical College. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico. He has also spent an additional two years at the Boston University Photonics Center, and the VA Boston Healthcare System where he worked as a research fellow developing novel modalities for detecting colon and esophageal cancer.
